![]() Garritan is usable straight out of the box, but as with any VI, getting it to sound like the audio demos relies heavily on the skill and experience of the person/people composing, performing, and mixing the demos. If someone can link to tutorials it also could be helpful.Īnd how come the Garritan official forums is abandoned in the last few years? I'm looking for MIDI files that was made to bring life to this library, I want to see how those MIDI files was programmed and learn from it. However, I downloaded the demo version to try it, and the first thing I learned is that without massive MIDI massaging it sounds awful. If I could make this library sound as good as in those demos and examples, I think it's a good budget alternative for exercising composing, exercise MIDI production, and even for the first projects I may work in the foreseeable future. ![]() I've listened to the demos, and also to the examples in Chuck Israel jazz arranging online course, where he use JABB3 exclusively.Īnd while I'm not comparing it to amazing VIs like Sample Modeling and Broadway Big Band, and while I understand people who already works in big proffesional productions so this library is not for their standards, I think what I heard sounds good overall. ![]()
